If you are looking for a free way to make extra money online, you may have come across PrizeRebel, one of the big Get-Paid-To (GPT) and survey sites.
But is PrizeRebel legit and a safe site worth joining, or is it a scam where you are wasting your time?
I have been using it myself for years and I can tell you right off the bat that PrizeRebel is legit. I have been paid by them many times, and later in this review I will also show you proof of payment so you can see for yourself – but that does not necessarily mean it is the right option for you.
In this 2023 PrizeRebel review you will get all the details about what it really offers.
This will make it easy for you to find out if it is worth it for YOU or not.
The review is a bit long as PrizeRebel has a lot to offer and I want to cover as much as possible and also show you how to use the platform and what to consider to find out if it is the right opportunity for you or not.

What is PrizeRebel and what does it offer?
PrizeRebel is one of the big players in the online paid survey and Get-Paid-To (GPT) sites. It has been around since 2007 and claims to have over 12 million users and has paid out over $25 million in rewards.
In general, it is a good sign when a survey or GPT site has been around for so long and is still going strong. But that alone is not enough to tell you for sure how good a site is. I can tell you right off the bat that PrizeRebel is definitely a legitimate and safe site.
I have been paid MANY times from it myself and it is one of the GPT sites I have had the most success with.
Later on in this review I will also show you the payment receipts so that you can see that I am indeed an active member of the platform and that it is possible to earn there.
However, this does not mean that it is the right site for you. So let’s first go through the different ways to earn that PrizeRebel offers so you can see if it’s for you or not.
Option 1 – PrizeRebel Paid Surveys
If you have visited here on PaidFromSurveys.com you will know that I am a big fan of paid surveys. I think it is a great way to make some extra cash and get your opinion heard at the same time.
PrizeRebel is one of the sites that offers paid surveys and you can find a good amount of paid surveys here and it is a great way to earn on PrizeRebel.
Once you have logged in, you can go to the ‘earn’ tab and select surveys or offers. You will then see a list of different survey providers that PrizeRebel works with.
Usually you will also see an overview of the different survey providers on your dashboard when you log in.
PrizeRebel offers quite a lot of paid surveys and good rewards compared to many similar sites.
There are many different survey providers on PrizeRebel, so there are often many opportunities to complete surveys every day.
So you choose the surveys that sound interesting and answer the questions. Once you have completed the surveys, you will receive the reward in your PrizeRebel account.
The first time you take a survey, you will be asked a few profile questions. This is to ensure that you are a real person, as PrizeRebel needs to ensure the quality of the participants on their site. The information is only used to match you with surveys and is not shared with others as PrizeRebel is a trustworthy site.
Compared to many similar sites, PrizeRebel is one of the sites that gives some of the highest rewards for the time spent on many of the surveys.
You can always see the reward you will get before you start a survey. There will also be a time estimate that will tell you how much time you can expect to spend on the survey. This is just an estimate and depends on how fast you are at reading and answering the questions.
In my case, the estimate is pretty accurate for most surveys, and I often complete them a little faster than the estimate. But I am also used to doing online surveys, so you should expect to spend at least the estimated time in the beginning.
Be aware that the exact number of survey providers and surveys available depends on where you live and your profile. So in some places you will see more opportunities than others, but I will come back to that later.
Also, as with all sites that offer paid surveys, you will not be eligible for all surveys. This is just part of taking surveys online. So if you do not qualify for some surveys, do not let that stop you. You will find many that you do qualify for.
Be aware that, especially with surveys from the Your Surveys provider, you will be given a quality score, which you can see at the top of the screen.
If this is below 100, you may get fewer or no surveys at all. It is a score based on things like how consistent you are, whether you pay attention, and more. So make sure you pay attention when answering the surveys if you want to continue to have access to them.
The great thing about PrizeRebel is that you can find paid surveys from all over the world, so you can earn more or less no matter where you live. But it is also a good idea to use some of the other methods to get the most out of the site.
Option 2 – Paid opportunities:
You can find a large section of paid offers on offer walls on PrizeRebel.
Offers are a type of activity that you have to complete in order to receive a reward. Simply put, they are a type of advertisement from one of PrizeRebel’s partners that you have to interact with in order to receive a reward.
This can be a great and easy way to earn good rewards. Most offers require you to sign up to something, such as a website, and in some cases you may be asked to pay something – for example, to buy a certain product or to try a certain service. Although this may sound annoying and scary at first, it can really be worth considering.
You can find many offer walls on PrizeRebel.
Let me give you a few examples of why it is worth checking out the rewards section from time to time.
For example, you can earn a reward for downloading and opening an app, you can earn a reward for signing up for a free trial on a website, or you can earn a reward for playing a Facebook game. All things we do a lot of anyway, so why not get paid for them, right?
A concrete example of an offer I once took up was one where I could get a $15 reward for signing up to an online betting platform. I had to register with the site and make a deposit, but it was only $12 that I had to deposit.
So for that I would be sure to get a profit of $3 + I got a sign up bonus at the bookmaker, so I had $25 to bet there and the chance to win a lot more – in this case I did not win extra as my betting skills are not the best, but the chance was there :-).
So this is a really good deal and the offers can be a great way to really boost your earnings and get some good deals at the same time.
Just make sure you read the terms and conditions of each offer before you sign up so you know what you have to do to get your reward.
Option 3 – Get paid to play
As part of the offers, you can often find games that you can download and play. I just wanted to give you an example of this as it can be a great extra reward if you like to play games.
There are often small games that you can download and just open up and play for a very short time, and you get a small reward for that. And then there are some where you have to play them to a certain level before you get the rewards, but those rewards can be really good too.
You can get paid to download and play games through the bounty system.
For example, I have seen games where you get $5 or $6 for installing the game and playing it to a certain level. This is pretty good if you like to play anyway.
Again, make sure you check the exact terms and conditions on the PrizeRebel site before you take advantage of the offers so you know what you need to do to get your rewards.
As you can see in the image above, the terms and conditions are easily visible before you download the games.
For example, many of the games require you to open them within 15 minutes of clicking the offer button in order for them to be registered. Or you may need to reach a certain level in the game to qualify for the reward. This is important to know, so be sure to read the requirements before accepting any in-game offers.
Option 4 – Watch videos:
PrizeRebel has a large section of videos that you can watch and get paid for. Usually you get paid for every 3 videos/advertisements you watch.
However, this used to be a separate section in the earning menu, but this has changed, so many people have asked me if it is no longer possible to earn by watching videos on PrizeRebel.
And it definitely is. Now it is not a separate section, but part of the bounty walls. So to find the videos, you have to go to the offer walls and find the ones that offer videos. At the time of writing, I know a good wall to find videos on is called Adscend.
There are a lot of different topics to choose from, so you should be able to find something that interests you. Examples include viral videos, travel videos, science and technology, sports and health.

There is no limit to how many videos you can watch, which is great. However, you are not paid much for watching them, so you have to do a lot to earn any real money.
There is, of course, the option to leave the videos running when you are not using the computer, so if you have several screens, this can be a way to earn a bit without much effort.
However, many of the videos are actually quite interesting to watch, so you may find them entertaining. However, you should not expect to make a lot of money watching them, and many of the other options on PrizeRebel are more effective in my experience.
You should also be aware that you only earn money when ads are shown in the video. And ads are not always available and not in all countries. So you may not always earn this way.
Option 5 – Daily challenges:
Every day you will see a daily challenge when you log in. You will see it on the left side of your screen if you are logging in on a desktop computer.
You can earn a bonus by achieving a certain level of activity each day.
It is a time sensitive challenge and you need to reach a certain number of points that day to get an extra bonus. You can always see how much time you have left and how close you are to completing the challenge.
There is also a 5-day challenge, so if you complete the daily challenge for 5 days in a row, you will receive an extra bonus.
This will not give you huge earnings, but you will automatically take part if you are actively using PrizeRebel and it is a nice little extra bonus to get.
Option 6 – Raffles:
You can use some of your earnings to enter raffles (later on I will talk about how you can get your earnings in other ways).
PrizeRebel has new raffles every week and the prizes are usually $5-10 gift cards. It only costs 10 cents per ticket, so this can be a way to multiply your winnings if you are lucky.
Raffles are a way to win some nice gift cards if you are lucky.
You can find this option by going to the “Win” tab in the main menu and selecting “Raffles”. You will then be able to see the current and upcoming raffles and easily buy tickets for them if you wish to participate.
Option 7 – Lucky numbers:
Lucky numbers are another way to try and win extra rewards on PrizeRebel. You buy a lottery ticket and choose 4 numbers.
The Lucky Numbers Lottery is your chance to win extra cash.
If your numbers match when the draw is made, you win the jackpot. There is usually a new lottery every week.
The tickets only cost 20 points and you can win some great prizes. Especially if you hit the jackpot. So if you are feeling lucky, it might be worth checking out the Lucky Numbers section.
Option 8 – Free competitions:
PrizeRebel has a number of different contests that you can enter for free and get a chance to win extra rewards.
Some contests are automatically entered when you are active on the platform.
Usually every two weeks there is a competition where the members who complete the most surveys, tasks and offers win extra rewards. Under the “Win” tab, you can see your current score and where you are on the list.

Other contests require you to actively participate. New competitions are announced on the PrizeRebel Facebook and Twitter accounts on a regular basis. These are very easy to enter, and often all you have to do is like and comment on Facebook for a chance to win a gift card worth between $5 and $25.
But sometimes you can find competitions with very big prizes.
PrizeRebel also sends out a regular email with an overview of their upcoming contests, so it can be a good idea to check their emails to make sure you don’t miss out.
In general, I find these free competitions and the chance to win extra with a certain amount of activity very nice and a good way to earn some extra cash with little effort.
As you can see, PrizeRebel offers a lot of different opportunities and I have to say that the opportunities are generally pretty good compared to many other similar sites.
Like any other legitimate survey site, PrizeRebel is free to join and use.
Option 9 – Invite your friends:
The final way you can earn is by using the PrizeRebel referral programme. This is where you can earn a little extra by inviting friends to join the platform.
As a member, you will be given access to a referral link and if you invite someone to join through this link, you will earn a commission every time they earn. So if you know a lot of people who might be interested in actively using PrizeRebel, this could be a great way to earn some extra cash.

Another thing to know about PrizeRebel is that they often have promo codes. These are codes that are announced and then you can use this code once you are logged in and this will give you some free points.

This is very easy and only takes a few seconds. You just need to know where to find these promo codes.
In addition to the welcome bonus code above, just because you have visited my website, you can regularly find other promo codes for PrizeRebel.
Just keep an eye on PrizeRebel’s Facebook or Twitter page, as the codes will be announced there on a regular basis. Usually a code is only valid for the same day it is posted, so you will need to check the social media regularly if you want to take advantage of this option.
But if you check your social media regularly anyway, it will not take long to see if there is a new promo code.
If you see a code published, simply copy it and paste it into the appropriate field on your account (see image above) and you will receive the free points. A new code is usually published several times a week (usually 2-3 times), so there are good chances to earn a little extra without much effort.
Sometimes you can also find a promo code in the email newsletter that PrizeRebel sends out.
PrizeRebel membership levels
An important aspect to understand about PrizeRebel is that it has membership levels.
This means that as a user you start at the lowest level and with activity and earnings you can move up to a higher level, giving you more benefits.
There are 5 levels starting from Bronze (which is where you start when you join), Silver, Gold, Platinum and finally Diamond. You will move to the Silver level when you have earned 1000 points. You can then continue to climb the ladder (see image below).
The benefits of this are that once you reach the Gold level, your preferred reward is automatically processed when you have earned enough to claim it, and the higher you go, the more bonuses you get.
You will receive a higher bonus for inviting friends to join PrizeRebel as you progress through the levels and you will start to receive special bonuses at the end of each month that are a percentage of all your earnings.

I have reached Diamond level myself (see proof later in this article), so I know from experience that you will definitely get these extra bonuses, which are a great way to boost your earnings.
Get notifications in your browser
The browser add-on is a pretty cool feature that PrizeRebel has to make it easy for you to get updates on new opportunities on the platform.
It allows you to install an add-on in your browser that will give you certain notifications and updates about PrizeRebel so that you do not have to log in all the time to check.
For example, the add-on will let you know when new surveys are available and, in my opinion, the coolest thing about it is that it will let you know when new promo codes are available and you can redeem them directly in the add-on.
You can install this add-on for your Firefox or Chrome browser to get new updates easily.
The add-on is currently available for Chrome and Firefox.
So if you use one of these browsers, this can be a great and easy way to stay up to date and make sure you don’t miss out on any of the promo codes and free points you can get.
How do you get paid?
The opportunities and ways to earn are an important aspect of any survey site and rewards portal. But another very important aspect is how you get paid.
And PrizeRebel’s payment methods are really good in my opinion.
First of all, you have the option to get paid through PayPal, which I really like when a survey site offers it because it is a great way to get paid in cash.
If you like getting paid in cash, in some countries you can also get paid through Dwolla, which means you can get your earnings directly into your bank account.
It also offers a range of different electronic or physical gift cards to Amazon, Skype, Visa, Debenhams, Facebook and many more. You can also spend your rewards on online games such as Minecraft and League of Legends.
And one of the latest payout options they have introduced is bitcoin, which I think is great that they have added that as well.
So there are really good options no matter what your preferences are.
Some of the rewards you can choose from on PrizeRebel.
When you do something on PrizeRebel, you earn points that can be redeemed for one of the rewards listed above. 100 points are worth $1.
You can request a PayPal payment as soon as you have earned 500 points ($5) and some gift cards as soon as you have earned $2.
These are really nice low payout thresholds compared to many other survey sites. When you join you can earn 25 points straight away by taking a guided tour and filling out your profile, which is a good start and it will not take you long to reach the payout threshold.
In my experience, withdrawals are also processed very quickly, especially once you have had a few withdrawals. I usually have the money in my PayPal account within 24 hours of requesting a withdrawal.
How long does it take to make money?
It is really up to you how much time you want to spend. But the more time you spend, the more you will earn.
You can do just a few things a day, or you can start by doing as much as you can, doing all the surveys, tasks and offers you can. This will take more time, but you will earn more.
It may also take a little time to get used to using PrizeRebel, but the more you get used to it and the higher your membership, the more you can earn.

The size of the rewards you get in relation to the time spent is about the same as the other survey sites on my top 10 list. However, PrizeRebel has some great extra features that make it easy to earn a little extra, such as the competitions, membership levels and promo codes.
PrizeRebel is one of the survey sites I spend the most time on myself. As you can see below, I was able to get the Diamond Membership, which is the highest level and, as I mentioned, comes with some great extra bonuses.
You need to earn $315 to get to this level, and below you can see the proof that I have reached this and therefore the proof of payment, so you know that this is a platform that really pays.
It is definitely possible to reach Diamond level quite quickly if you put in the effort. So spending some time on PrizeRebel can definitely be worth it and you can make some nice extra money.

As with any other survey site and online rewards portal, it is important to remember that you will not be able to make a full time income from being a member.
You can earn some really nice extra money on PrizeRebel, but do not expect it to make you rich or you will be disappointed.
What are the best times to make money on PrizeRebel?
In general, PrizeRebel has many daily surveys and other opportunities. However, I have noticed that certain times of the week offer better opportunities than others.
There are usually fewer opportunities during the weekend than during the week. This does not mean that you will not find opportunities at the weekend, because there will still be some. It just means that there will be fewer.
So be aware if you join PrizeRebel at the weekend – there may be fewer opportunities, so make sure you check during the week to take full advantage of the opportunities.
Also, surveys, offers, etc. come and go all the time, so just because there aren’t any options when you log in at a certain time doesn’t mean there won’t be more opportunities later that day.
I have also noticed that around Christmas and other holiday periods there are fewer opportunities on PrizeRebel. So if you suddenly feel that there are not as many opportunities as usual around these times, do not worry. More opportunities will return shortly after the holidays.
Who can join PrizeRebel?
You can join PrizeRebel from most countries. However, not all countries have the same number of opportunities.
Most opportunities will be available to people living in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. But you can also find really good opportunities in countries such as Germany, France, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, South Africa, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and you can also find great ways to earn on PrizeRebel in many other countries.
You can join as long as you are 13 years old. However, if you are between 13 and 18 years old, you will need your parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Can you get support?
If you run into problems with a platform you are a member of, it is always nice to be able to contact an official support service. Not all survey sites offer good support.
The quality of a site’s support tells you a lot about its overall credibility and quality. And PrizeRebel has excellent support.
I have contacted them myself on a number of occasions and have always received a quick and helpful response.
If you take a look at the PrizeRebel social media channels, you will see that support is also very active here. If you have any questions or concerns, they will get back to you very quickly.

Good support is a very good quality to have for a survey and GPT site and it is good to know that you can get support at PrizeRebel should you need it.
Final Verdict
From what you have read above, you can probably tell that PrizeRebel is a legitimate site and not a scam. I know this from personal experience as I have been paid many times myself.
But let’s end this review with a summary of the pros and cons to give you a better idea of what it has to offer before you decide whether or not it’s for you.
Pros:
- Free to join.
- Large number of surveys, tasks and offers.
- Low payout threshold.
- You can get paid in cash.
- Great support when you need it.
- Lots of extra ways to earn through levels, competitions and promo codes.
Cons:
- You will not qualify for all surveys (but that is true of any survey site).
- In some countries there are not many options.
If you want to earn some extra cash online for free by completing surveys and other small micro-tasks, I think PrizeRebel is definitely worth signing up for.
