f you are looking for a way to earn some extra cash by taking surveys, you have probably heard of PaidViewpoint.
But is PaidViewpoint legit and really a way to make money or a scam site to stay away from?
I have tested it thoroughly and have been a member for years.
Let me tell you right away that PaidViewpoint is legit and it does pay – I have been paid by it many times myself.
And it also has some unique features that very few survey sites have, but that does not necessarily mean it is a good option for everyone.
I will go into detail about all of this in this PaidViewpoint review so that you know exactly what to expect and whether or not it is the right way for you to make some extra money online.
What is PaidViewpoint and what does it offer?
PaidViewpoint is a paid survey site operated by aytm (Ask Your Target Market).
Unlike many other survey sites, this site only offers paid surveys and no ads to view for money, no paid offers or anything else.
This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it makes it very simple and easy to use, so it is very easy to get started. And of course it is 100% free to join and use.
In general, the 3 things that PaidViewpoint offers are
Option 1 – PaidViewpoint surveys:
The main way to make money on PaidViewpoint is by taking regular surveys. Depending on where you live in the world, there are quite a lot of these surveys available (more on which countries later).
The great thing about surveys through PaidViewpoint compared to other survey sites is that you will never be offered a survey that you are not qualified for.
This makes PaidViewpoint very unique and also means that you will not waste time clicking on surveys that you will not be able to take. So you know that when you are offered a survey on PaidViewpoint, you are guaranteed to be able to complete it and get paid for it.
This is a feature that I really appreciate about PaidViewpoint.
Once you have logged in, you can see in the right hand corner of your screen if you have any surveys available.
You will always qualify for the surveys you receive within PaidViewpoint.
You just have to make sure that you log in regularly to check for new surveys, as you will not necessarily receive email notifications when new surveys are available.
Also, the surveys on PaidViewpoint are generally quite short and are usually multiple choice so they are easy to complete.
Option 2 – Trait Score Surveys:
PaidViewpoint offers at least one daily paid survey called “Trait Score”.
These surveys give very small rewards, but also only take 1 minute to complete, and it will eventually be part of getting you more surveys and higher rewards for the surveys.
I know this may sound confusing at the moment, but I will explain more about the Trait Score later so that it becomes clear.
Option 3 – Referral Programme:
PaidViewpoint also offers a generous referral programme, where you can earn up to $25 per person you invite to the site, as you get a bonus every time they take a survey (this money is not taken from the person you invite, but paid by PaidViewpoint).
Before you get too excited about this potential bonus, be aware that it is not as simple as it sounds. You do not get $25 just for inviting someone.
When a person you invite joins, you get 20% commission on whatever they earn, so you only get a bonus if they actually take surveys.
And the maximum you can get per person is $25. But still a nice way to make some extra money if you know a lot of people who are interested in joining and taking surveys.
How does PaidViewpoint pay?
Every time you take a survey or a trait score survey, you earn dollars that you can see immediately in your PaidViewpoint.com account.
You can then withdraw this money via PayPal, which is the only withdrawal method.
You will be paid via PayPal.
You need to earn $15 before you can request a payout. I personally prefer a slightly lower payout threshold, but this is still very good compared to some other survey sites and not difficult to achieve if you live in the right countries.
Also, in general, the threshold for the second withdrawal is only $10 and for subsequent payouts the threshold is only $5.
Just be aware that PaidViewpoint reserves the right to increase the payout thresholds back to the original $15 for any member, at any time, for any or no reason.
You will receive a $1 bonus just for signing up and filling out your basic information, which only takes a few minutes, so that is a nice start. Once you request a withdrawal, it will be credited to your PayPal account within 2-3 days.
Note that you must have a verified PayPal account. This is free to get, but you just need to make sure that your account is verified before you can withdraw your earnings.
What is the PaidViewpoint Trait Score?
I have mentioned the Trait Score a few times now and I think it is time to explain what it is.
It is a score that determines how well PaidViewpoint knows you and how honest you are. Every day you can take a short Trait Score survey, which pays you a few cents but only takes 1-2 minutes to complete.

This is not a way to make real money on PaidViewpoint, but a way to find out how consistent and honest your answers are. Online surveys often have a problem with people not being honest and just rushing through, so PaidViewpoint has created a system that tests your consistency through these small daily surveys.
The Trait Score surveys are also a way for PaidViewpoint to get to know you better so that you get the surveys that suit you. This does not mean that the site wants to know your personal identity, but it does want to know more about your interests, demographics and traits.
This is also why you will only be offered surveys that you can actually take and complete. Unlike some other sites, once you start a survey, you know that it will not stop in the middle and tell you that you do not qualify. This is a very unique feature and one of the great things about PaidViewpoint.
These Trait Score surveys are not the way you will make the most money on the site – well in a way they are. Because every time you complete one of these Trait Score surveys, you earn points.
When you reach 9000 points (it took me about 3 months), you are one of the most trusted survey takers, and you will get more surveys and higher rewards for them.
So even though the Trait Score surveys pay very little, it is definitely worth spending 1-2 minutes a day doing them. In the long run, this will give you a lot more opportunities on PaidViewpoint.
How much money can I make with PaidViewpoint?
As with any paid survey site, how much time you want to spend is up to you. The daily Trait Score surveys only take 1-2 minutes to complete. They are well worth doing as they give you the chance to earn more money in the long run.
The other surveys pay quite well compared to many other survey sites. It is difficult to be specific as the time and reward depends on the survey and your trait score.
But in general, most surveys only take about 5 minutes to complete and are very easy to answer as they are usually multiple choice questions.
However, PaidViewpoint is limited when it comes to earning potential as there are only a few ways to earn. And because it only has high quality surveys, there are not as many as you will find on many other survey sites.
Some days there will only be one Trait Score survey you can do and then you can only spend a maximum of 1-2 minutes on the site.
So in this way, PaidViewpoint is not the site that offers the best earning opportunities, as there are not as many daily opportunities as there are on online rewards portals like SwagBucks. However, PaidViewpoint has other advantages and is very easy to use, so it can definitely be a nice site to join and take the surveys that are offered to you.
One thing to remember is that you have to check the site yourself to see if there are any surveys available. In your account settings you can ask to receive email notifications when surveys are available, which can save you having to go to the site to check.
However, you will not be notified by email when a Trait Score survey is available, but it is also easy to find out when they are available – there will be 1 (sometimes 2) of these every day.
And please remember that paid surveys are generally not going to make you rich or give you a full-time income, but they can give you some nice extra spending money. Just to clarify and manage expectations.
But PaidViewPoints definitely pays, so it is a legitimate way to make some extra cash. I have been paid a few times myself.

They have recently launched a PaidViewpoint app for Android devices.

At the time of writing, the app is not yet available for iOS devices, but they are reportedly working on it.
However, the website is mobile friendly, so if you want to take surveys from your iPhone or iPad, you can still do so by logging into the website from your browser.
What countries is PaidViewpoint available in?
PaidViewpoint is available worldwide and you can sign up wherever you are in the world. However, the number of surveys you receive can vary greatly depending on where you live.
Most surveys are available to people living in the USA, Canada and the UK, and to some extent Australia. In the rest of the world, there will still be the occasional survey, but it will be very rare.
So if you do not live in one of the above countries, this may not be the right site for you, but there are other sites in your country.
I have seen several PaidViewpoint reviews that just say that you can join from any country and encourage everyone to join, and while it is true that anyone can join, it is not the full truth.
Often people who just say this do not really know how it works and in most cases have not even tested the site properly and the reality is that if you do not live in one of the countries mentioned above it may take you years to get enough surveys to reach the payout threshold and in some countries it will probably never be possible to get enough surveys to reach it.
Therefore, PaidViewpoint is currently only worth joining if you live in the USA, Canada, UK or Australia.
However, PaidViewpoint is growing worldwide, so hopefully there will be more surveys available for different countries in the future.
You can take surveys even if you are in a different country to where you live, unlike some other survey sites, so you can use it even when travelling.
Can you get support?
There may be times when you need to contact a survey site to clarify something about your account or the platform. Whether it is easy to get in touch with the company behind it tells you a lot about a survey site.
I have contacted PaidViewpoint a few times with a few questions. Each time I received a quick, useful and friendly response.
This is a sign of good service and respect for their members and another aspect I really appreciate about PaidViewpoint.
Final verdict
Overall I am very positive about PaidViewpoint. It is definitely not a scam as it gives you the chance to make money without any investment.
Like any other legitimate survey site, it is free to join and free to use. But it is not necessarily a good option for everyone.
So let’s end this review by summarising the pros and cons so you can get a better idea before you decide whether it’s for you or not.
Pros:

Cons:
- Not many daily opportunities
- Not good opportunities in all countries
PaidViewpoint definitely has a lot more pros than cons in my opinion.
One of the only cons is that the number of surveys you get can vary greatly depending on where you live, so it is only really worth joining if you live in the USA, Canada, UK or Australia.
This is not such a bad thing as these are the markets that PaidViewpoint mainly works with. It just means that if you do not live in one of these countries, you should probably join other survey sites instead, as it would take you far too long to earn enough for a payout.
PaidViewpoint is the only survey site I have seen that has a system like the Trait Score where you can get extra earnings if you are consistent and honest. I really appreciate this feature and I also like that it means that you are only offered surveys that you are sure you can complete and get paid for, as they know more about which surveys you are suited to.
More survey sites could learn from a system like this, where you are never filtered out once you have been offered a survey.
So in general I would definitely recommend joining PaidViewpoint if you live in one of the countries mentioned above.
