OpinionPioneer is a newer survey site and you can start earning some extra cash for free just by answering paid surveys.
But is OpinionPioneer legitimate and really a great way to make some extra cash online? Or is it just a waste of time?
I have joined and thoroughly tested it myself and compared it to the hundreds of other paid survey sites I have tested.

What is OpinionPioneer and what does it offer?
OpinionPioneer is a relatively new survey site where you can earn money by sharing your opinions.
But there are many sites offering this, so you need to choose wisely to find the right options for you. I have thoroughly tested OpinionPioneer myself, and this review will give you an inside look at what it has to offer.
And let me just reveal right away that it is definitely a legitimate paid survey site, and so far I have been quite impressed with it, as it offers some things that I have not seen on many other survey sites.
And it definitely pays. I have been paid by it many times myself, and you will see proof of payment later in this review.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right option for everyone, so let’s start by looking at the earning opportunities it offers, so you can get an idea of what they are, before we look at the full earning potential.
Option 1 – Take paid surveys
The main earning opportunity offered by OpinionPioneer is to get paid for sharing your opinions by taking paid surveys.
It is very easy to get an overview of the surveys available when you log in.
You can easily get an overview of the surveys available.
What I really like about the survey overview on OpinionPioneer is that you can see the POC (Probability of Complete), which gives you an indication of how likely you are to qualify for a particular survey.
This is something I have not seen on other survey sites and is a very user-friendly feature in my opinion.
Just be aware that just because a survey has a 30% chance of qualifying or less, it does not mean that you cannot qualify. In my experience, it is still worth trying.
As you can see in the image above, you can also see how long the survey will take and how it has been rated by other survey participants.
And once you have completed a survey, you actually have the opportunity to rate it and also give feedback on the specific survey if you have any.
These are some nice extra features that I have not seen on many other survey sites.
You just have to be aware that you will not qualify for all surveys. This is generally only a part of taking paid surveys.
But to optimise your chances of qualifying, the best thing you can do is to make sure you fill out the short profile survey at the top of the screen right after you join.
You will receive 30 points for completing a short profile survey after joining.
You also get paid $0.30 for the profile survey and it only takes 2 minutes to complete, so it is a great start.
Another unique feature of OpinionPioneer that makes it less frustrating if you do not qualify for a survey is that you will sometimes get paid even if you do not qualify.
You will sometimes get a small reward if you start a survey and end up not qualifying. It is of course not as much as you would get for completing a survey, but it is still a nice consolation prize and it is higher than what I have seen on other sites that pay if you do not qualify.
However, not all surveys offer a screenout reward.
Also, be aware that you will not always receive an email when a new survey is available. In fact, in my experience, it is quite rare that you will receive an email notification.
Therefore, it is a good idea to get into the habit of checking the site for new surveys at least once a day to maximise your earnings.
Option 2 – Invite your friends
OpinionPioneer offers you another way to earn.
You can earn extra money by inviting your friends to join. You will receive a 15% commission every time the person you invite earns.
These earnings are not taken from your friend. Your friend will earn the same and this percentage is paid by OpinionPioneer to thank you for inviting others.
This is actually quite a generous referral programme compared to most other sites that mainly offer surveys as a way to earn. Most sites only offer you 10%, but here you get 15%, so it can definitely be a nice way to make some extra money.
How do you get paid?
Every time you earn, you earn points. 100 points are worth $1, so 1 point is worth $0.01, so the conversion rate makes it easy to quickly see how much you are getting paid for a survey.
Once you have earned $10 (1,000 points), you can request a payout. As of writing this review, the only payout method offered is PayPal.
You can get paid in cash via PayPal once you have earned $10.
But PayPal is one of the most convenient ways to get paid in cash online today, so it is definitely a great payout method.
I am also told that OpinionPioneer is planning to introduce more payment options soon, so if you prefer to get paid in other ways than PayPal, this may still be relevant to you.
How much money can you earn?
OpinionPioneer pays quite well for the surveys you take compared to many other survey sites, and it also has a generous referral programme.
So it can definitely be a nice way to earn some extra cash on the side and have your opinion heard.
You just need to be aware that, as with all survey sites, it is not a way to make a full-time online income. If that is what you are looking for, paid surveys are generally not the right option for you.
But as a free and easy way to earn some extra cash on the side, it is definitely a good option.
Can you use it on a mobile?
Being able to take surveys on your mobile phone can be a great way to increase your earnings.
Not only does it allow you to take surveys whenever you have a little extra time, no matter where you are, but it also makes it easier to get to the highest paying surveys before they fill up.
And luckily, OpinionPioneer also allows you to take surveys from your mobile phone. You can simply log in to the website from your browser and take the surveys from there.
There is also an app for iOS now, and I am told an Android app is coming later. Either way, you can take surveys on your phone.
Who can join OpinionPioneer?
In theory, you can join OpinionPioneer from more or less any country.
However, in some countries it will not really be worth it because you will not find any surveys. However, it can still be a way to earn money by inviting people from other countries where there are more surveys available.
However, if you want to earn by taking paid surveys, you will find the most opportunities in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, most European countries, some Asian countries, UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia and some surveys will be available in South Africa.
You may occasionally find surveys from other countries, but the above countries are where you will find the most.
Can you get support?
Being able to get support is very important and I think says a lot about a site.
And OpinionPioneer has quite good support – they have an FAQ page which covers the most common questions, but if you have any other questions or problems you can contact them through the support system once you have logged in or through the contact form on the website.
And in my experience, support tends to respond fairly quickly, which is definitely a big plus.
Final verdict
Overall, OpinionPioneer is definitely a legitimate paid survey site. It is still fairly new, so its full potential is still a little unknown. But so far it looks very promising.

As you can see, I think OpinionPioneer is a pretty good paid survey site. It is still a fairly young site, but it already offers some things that many older survey sites do not, such as a reward if you do not qualify, you can see the likelihood of qualifying, fast support and more.
So personally I am looking forward to seeing how it develops.
Just be aware that I would still recommend joining other legitimate survey sites to get access to more surveys and earning opportunities overall, as you will not always find available surveys on OpinionPioneer.
