You have to create a profile to become a member.

I did it myself and it takes at least 5 minutes – I think it took me about 8 minutes. Not really a problem, but you just have to be aware of it.

Also, you will not be paid for this profile survey, but you must complete it to gain access to other surveys on Opinion Bureau.

Be aware that you will be asked to give your address when you complete this profiler. You will also be asked for your telephone number. You can continue without giving your phone number, but you must give your address.

You will then be given access to your dashboard. In most cases, there will probably not be any surveys available as most of them are sent to you by email.

However, in my experience, the number of paid surveys you get on Opinion Bureau is not impressive.

I have also seen several other reviews of Opinion Bureau from other users who say that they have very few surveys available.

I think some of the reviews I have seen may be a bit harsh because it is possible to find surveys on Opinion Bureau from time to time.

But it is definitely not one of the survey sites with the most opportunities. But you can find some extra surveys here and as an extra site it can be worth considering because it is quite easy to use and it does not take much time to check if there are any surveys available.

However, you should make sure that you also join some of the top paying survey sites to get enough opportunities as Opinion Bureau alone will not give you many.

Option 2 – Polls

Another option offered by Opinion Bureau is to take quick polls.

I usually like this option when survey sites offer it because they usually only take a few seconds to complete and can be fun.

On Opinion Bureau, however, I was not so impressed with the options.

When you first arrive at the site it looks like a great option. Then, after logging in, I saw that I had to click on a link to see the available polls.

You can supposedly take polls on Opinion Bureau.

So I clicked on it, but all I got was a screen saying that there were no live polls available.

I did not find any polls, but that could be due to my location.

This can happen, of course, but to get an idea of how often there are these polls, I then clicked to see the closed polls.

There were none here either.

So it does not really seem like a big opportunity.

But it might be different from country to country. So you might have more polls in your country.

But overall, this is definitely not a way to make a lot of money on Opinion Bureau.

Option 3 – Invite your friends

Like many other paid survey sites, Opinion Bureau offers you a small reward for inviting friends to join the platform.

If you invite someone who joins and becomes an active member (which means they have to complete at least one survey), you will receive a small reward.

However, the reward you get per friend depends on the country you live in. In some countries, the reward is quite decent, while in others it is quite low.

For example, in the US you get $1 per friend, in the UK you get £1, in Australia you get 1AUD, while in India you get only ₹10 (which is about $0.15) and in South Africa you get R10 (which is about $0.70).

These are just examples of referral rewards in a few countries, but as you can see, whether or not inviting friends is a good way to make money really depends on the country you live in.

And overall, it is a fairly limited referral programme compared to what many other survey sites offer.

But it can be a way to earn a little extra.

How do you get paid?

Now you know a bit more about how you can earn money with Opinion Bureau. But you also need to know how to get your earnings.

The methods are actually quite good. For example, you can get paid through PayPal, Amazon gift cards and more.

Opinion Bureau has some good payout methods.

The exact payout methods can vary from country to country, but as far as I know you can get paid through PayPal in most countries, which makes it easy to get your earnings in cash.

The payout threshold is only around $5 (can vary from country to country), which is a nice low threshold.

One thing to bear in mind when it comes to getting paid through Opinion Bureau is that once a survey has been completed, it takes 45 days for the reward to be initiated and then another 7 days for the money to be in your account.

This means that it can take 52 days before you see the earnings in your account.

Opinion Bureau says that this is to give them time to manually ensure the quality of the answers and to emphasise the interest in taking the surveys rather than the rewards.

However, while I understand their arguments, I find this time frame unreasonable, especially when compared to the fastest paying survey sites, some of which pay you within minutes of completing a survey.

So the payout methods at Opinion Bureau are definitely good, but you just have to be a bit patient to actually get the money out.

How much money can you earn?

Overall, the earning opportunities on Opinion Bureau are quite limited.

It is a legitimate site, so you can earn a little extra by taking surveys.

But from what I have seen myself and from researching what others say, you should not expect too much.

I would say that it might be worth joining as an extra site, but you should definitely make sure to join other survey sites as well, as Opinion Bureau alone will give you too few opportunities.

Can you use it on a mobile phone?

Yes, you can definitely use Opinion Bureau on your mobile phone.

In fact, it has an app that makes it very easy to use on mobile.

The Opinion Bureau app makes it easy to use on the go.

When survey sites are easy to use on a mobile phone, I think it is a big plus because it gives you easy access wherever you are and makes it easy to earn money on the go.

Just be aware that the Opinion Bureau app will not give you any extra surveys. The number of opportunities is the same whether you use the app or not.

But great, it has an app so you can easily take the surveys on the go when you have a little extra time.

And you can download it for both iOS and Android devices.

Support on Facebook responds quickly.

As you can see, in this case, Opinion Bureau support quickly resolved the issues and made sure the member got paid.

So great to see how responsive they are here. Of course, it is a bit worrying to see that the reason the first person posted on her Facebook wall in the first place was because she did not get a response when she contacted support.

So from what I can see, you can get support, but sometimes it can take some patience. Also, if you do not hear anything, it might be worth writing again or posting on their Facebook wall.

Final verdict

Just to be clear, Opinion Bureau is a legitimate site that pays you for completing surveys and offers legitimate payment methods.
