One of the earning methods on Lootup that offers the most earning opportunities is paid surveys. Of course, the number of surveys available to you depends on the country you live in.
Lootup has partnerships with a lot of survey providers, so you can find a lot of surveys here. Just go to the earn section and select paid surveys to get an overview of all the surveys available.
The process of answering surveys on Lootup is pretty much the same as any other survey site. You first go through a qualification process, and if you qualify, you get to answer the actual survey. If you do not qualify, you will simply move on to the next available survey, if there is one.
Once you’ve completed the actual survey, you’ll receive your promised reward in the form of points. I’ll talk about what you can do with the points later.
One thing I have not seen on many other survey sites that I really like is that you can sort the surveys by rewards, popularity, ease of completion and more. This makes it easier to find the right surveys for you and is a great feature in my opinion.
Also make sure you scroll down from the initial overview of available surveys. Below that you will find links to many survey providers and this is one way to get access to even more surveys.
Overall, the rewards you get for your time on Lootup per survey are quite good compared to many other survey sites.
However, one tip to keep in mind is not to always go for the highest paying surveys – they can often be harder to qualify for. Lower paying surveys are often easier to qualify for, so make sure you do some of these to optimise your earnings.
Option 2 – Paid offers
You can also earn rewards by completing paid tasks on Lootup.
If you are not familiar with paid offers, they are short tasks that you can complete to earn rewards. Usually these tasks ask you to answer a survey, sign up for a website or download a mobile app.
You can find paid offers on Lootup in 2 different ways. You can either click on the menu to see the offer walls, or you can see an overview of paid offers, like the one you can see in the picture below.
You will find a reasonable number of paid listings.
To view the full details of an offer, simply click on it. I recommend that you take note of all the details and requirements to complete the offer and make sure you understand what is required to complete it. If you miss even one step/requirement, you won’t be able to complete the offer and earn the reward.
You can find some pretty good offers here and some of them definitely have high rewards, but you will not find as many paid offers here as you will on some other GPT sites.
But it is still a section worth checking out in my opinion, and Lootup also offers so many other ways to earn that it is not a big problem that there are no more paid offers.
Option 3 – Watch videos
Watching videos is a very popular way to earn money on GPT sites, and this is also an option on Lootup. It has partnered with several video watching sites, including HideoutTV.
The idea behind this earning option is very simple. You choose a video provider and click on it. Then all you have to do is watch videos to earn points.
You can earn a small number of points by watching videos.
Note, however, that you’re not paid to watch the video. Instead, you get paid to watch the adverts that play before, in the middle or after the video. So you can actually leave the video running in the background while you do something else.
You just need to make sure that the tab in which the video is playing is the active tab. If you open a new tab or even another application, the video won’t play and you won’t get the reward.
One suggestion I can give you is to work on this earning opportunity on your mobile device as the site also has a mobile app that you can use (I will talk more about their mobile app later). That way you can just let the video play and do something else on your computer.
Just be aware that you won’t earn a lot of points with this earning option. It is the least efficient earning option that Lootup offers. So I’d only recommend it if you have nothing else to do.
You should also be aware that there may not always be ads during the videos. This depends on which advertisers are running campaigns in your country. If there are no ads, you will not earn anything. It is better to just stop and come back later and hope that ads are available.
Option 4 – Contests
Lootup runs weekly and monthly competitions where you can win thousands of points. The contests are a way to motivate you to be more active on the site and there are several contests.
There is one for the top earners by accepting paid offers, one for the top referral earners and one for the top earners by taking paid surveys.
There are some great extra rewards if you are one of the top earners.
The exact rewards depend on the competition. But at the time of writing, for example, you can earn $300 if you are the top survey earner for the month. This is a very high bonus reward compared to most other GPT sites I have tested.
And you do not have to be the top earner to get a reward. In most contests you only need to be in the top 50 to get a reward.
When I first tested Lootup, the rewards were smaller and there were not as many contests, so this is one of the areas where it has really improved.
They’re some pretty great rewards, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on your place in these contests and trying to get to the top as it can really boost your earnings.
Option 5 – Loot Chests
A fairly new way to earn money in Lootup is through Loot Chests. This has replaced the previous earning method called Spin the Wheel.
I think this is great news for users, as Loot Chests offer more opportunities, especially if you are an active user.
There are two types of loot chests: Daily Loot Chests and Offer Loot Chests.
Daily loot chests contain a number of points depending on your Reward level. You can claim them once a day.
You can open a free loot chest once a day.
The higher your membership level, the more points you have the chance to win. You will gain a higher membership level simply by being active on the site.
The Loot Chest offer is not limited to a certain number of chests per day. You will receive one immediately after completing a qualifying task, such as taking paid surveys, completing offers, watching videos & more. Each Offer Loot Chest contains either a points reward or a percentage increase for your next qualifying task.
In my opinion, a great bonus system if you actively use the site.
Option 6 – Lootup Deal Finder
One of the newer features that Lootup has introduced is the Lootup Deal Finder.
It is an extension for Chrome that allows you to get cash back or discounts when you shop online.
You can use the Chrome extension to find cashback deals.
Once installed, it gives you access to cashback deals from over 50,000 brands online and the cashback savings are automatically added to your Lootup account as reward points.
So if you ever shop online, this is definitely worth checking out.
Option 7 – Referral program
You can join the referral programme to earn more points. If you are not familiar with a referral programme, it is a reward programme designed to promote the website.
You can earn more points through Lootup’s referral programme.
All you have to do is share your invitation link with the person you want to invite, and when they click on the link and sign up, they become your referral. However, in order for you to earn from your referral, they must become an active member of the site.
When they earn on the site, you earn 10% of whatever they earn. For example, they complete a survey worth 500 points. You will then receive 50 points as commission, which is paid by Lootup and not deducted from your referral’s earnings.
If you are able to get 500 referrals, your 10% commission will be increased to 15%.

There are three types of rewards to choose from. You can convert your points to cash via PayPal, various gift cards or crypto.
For PayPal withdrawals, the threshold is only 1,000 points, which is worth $1. This is a very low payout threshold for cash withdrawals compared to many other GPT sites.
For crypto withdrawals you need to earn at least 5,100 points. This is converted into $5 worth of crypto. You will be paid into your BitPay account, so you will need to have an account there in order to withdraw your earnings in crypto. You can choose to be paid in Bitcoin, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin or Litecoin.
As for gift cards, the minimum threshold you need to reach to redeem one is 1,000 points (worth $1), but this can vary depending on the gift card. Note that the type of gift card you can redeem depends on where you live.
