GPT (get-paid-to) and survey sites can be a great and easy way to make some extra money online. IF you join the legitimate and worthwhile sites.
So is InstaGC legit or one of those sites that is a waste of time?
I have thoroughly tested the site myself and compared it to the hundreds of other similar sites I have tested.
In this InstaGC review you will get an inside look at this GPT and survey site so you can see exactly what it offers and easily find out if this is the right opportunity for you or not.
What is InstaGC, and what does the site offer?
InstaGC was launched in 2011, so it has been around for a while. It is owned by Day Online Solutions, which is a network of websites.
Let me just say right up front that InstaGC is NOT a scam, but a legitimate way to earn some extra cash online – I have been paid by the site several times myself. You can see proof of payment in the tutorial video later in this review.
However, just because it is legitimate does not mean that it is necessarily the best way for you to earn money and that it is worth it for you.
To find out, we need to take a closer look at exactly what it offers, so let’s take a look at what you can do on InstaGC and the earning options it offers.
Option 1 – Paid surveys:
Taking paid surveys and earning money by giving your opinion is one of the main ways to make money on InstaGC.
The site has a good number of different portals it offers surveys through, so there is usually a good amount of surveys available.
InstaGC offers paid surveys through various portals.
This means that you choose one of the portals, find the surveys they offer and you will be taken to an external site to complete the survey. Once you have completed the survey, you will receive your earnings in your InstaGC account.
Within InstaGC, however, the best surveys are available when you go to the “Tasks” section. Select the InstaGC logo and you will be given access to the surveys – in my experience these are the highest paying surveys on InstaGC.
Note that not all countries have access to paid surveys, and some countries have fewer daily opportunities. However, InstaGC does offer surveys for many countries, but to find out if they offer for your exact country, you will have to join and check for yourself.
You will not qualify for all available surveys. This is very common with sites that offer surveys. So it may take a little patience at first to find the surveys that are available to you.
After a while, however, you will be able to figure out what types of surveys are usually available to you and just focus on those. For example, I have found that I can often qualify by going through the InstaGC button (see image above) and using the surveys there. This may be different for you depending on the country you live in.
Option 2 – Download apps/programs:
Sometimes you can earn by downloading apps or programs through InstaGC. This can be an easy and fun way to earn money. Sometimes they are small games or apps, and sometimes they are programs for your desktop.
You can download apps to earn money.
Some of these offers can be quite rewarding. But make sure you read all the terms and conditions before you download. There are usually certain conditions you have to meet in order to get the reward.
Sometimes the condition is as simple as downloading and launching the app within 15 minutes. Other times, you might have to play a game to a certain level. The more effort it takes to get the reward, the bigger the reward will usually be.
Option 3 – Surf the web:
InstaGC used to have its own search engine that you could use instead of your normal browser. You could earn some extra points by using it.
This option is no longer available at the time of writing. I wanted to mention it anyway as many of my followers have asked me about it and how to find it now – so to be clear, this option is no longer available.
Option 4 – Visit websites:
You can earn points by visiting websites or clicking on ads. There are not many of these so-called PTC (paid to click) options available on InstaGC, but there are some.
Earning money by visiting websites or ads is very easy. You just click on a link, and sometimes you have to be on the site for a certain number of seconds to get the reward.
Clicking on these links will not make you rich, but if you are on the site anyway, it does not take many seconds to click on a few links.
Option 5 – Sign up for trials:
InstaGC has offers from many portals. Some of these offers are to sign up for free trials of certain services or websites. This can be a great way to earn money as the rewards are often quite high.
As long as you read the terms and conditions, trials can be a great way to boost your earnings.
Just be aware that sometimes you have to use a credit card to sign up for a trial, but then the reward is usually higher. Other times this may not be necessary.
So make sure you read all the terms and conditions before you sign up for anything, so you know exactly what you are signing up for – especially if you are using your credit card. But if you read the terms and conditions, free trials can earn you some nice extra cash.
Option 6 – Get a weekly bonus:
A great extra feature of InstaGC is that you can earn a weekly bonus, where you get a percentage of your weekly earnings as a bonus.
The amount of the bonus depends on your activity. Every time you earn points, you also earn bonus units. How many Bonus Units you get depends on the task/survey.
Each bonus unit equals 0.01%, and therefore 100 bonus units would give you a 1% bonus. In general, you can maximum get a 5% weekly bonus. At times there are, however promotions, where you can earn higher bonuses.
If you are an active InstaGC user, this bonus is a great way to earn extra money. However, it is important to note that the bonus is not automatically added to your account.
You have to redeem it by clicking a button when you are logged in. It only takes a few seconds and you will be reminded when you log in, but it is important to note that you must do this within 30 days to receive the bonus.
Option 7 – Watch videos:
InstaGC has a section for watching videos. This allows you to earn money by watching different short videos. You can choose your own topics and watch videos about food, viral videos, games, how-to videos and more.
Watching videos can be fun, but it does not make a lot of money. One way to earn more is to let the videos play when you are not using your computer anyway. This way you can earn some money even when you are away from your computer.
Option 8 – Completion competitions:
One of the newer features on InstaGC is the completion contests.
These are weekly contests where you earn points simply by completing tasks on the platform.
There are some great rewards to be won in the completion competitions.
The top 10 each week will win a set prize, and a further 5 random members will receive a small extra reward.
This can be worth keeping an eye on, so you can put in that extra effort if you are in the top 10. For example, a first place finish gives you a $100 reward, so you could win some nice extra cash.
Option 9 – Win the decimal pot
Another contest option on InstaGC is to bet your decimals from your account. This means that if you have, for example, 450.12 points in your account, you can bet the decimal 0.12 into a pot.
There will then be a weekly draw where 3 random winners will be selected. The 1st winner will receive 50% of the pot, the 2nd will receive 35% and the 3rd will receive 15%.
This is a great way to get rid of those decimals in your account that are not good for much anyway. Just be aware that in order to use this option you must have used an offer or taken a survey on InstaGC within the last 5 days.
Bonus tips to improve your InstaGC experience
As you can see from the above, there are many different ways to make money on InstaGC. There are a few additional tips that I would like to share with you as they can help increase your success and earnings on the site.
Tip 1 – Set a goal and achieve it:
InstaGC allows you to set a goal for yourself. You can choose if the goal is a certain gift card, a certain amount to PayPal, etc.
You can set a goal to keep yourself motivated.
The great thing about this goal is that once you have set it, you can see a progress bar when you are logged in, showing you how close you are to reaching your goal and getting your reward.
This can be a great way to stay motivated and get a quick overview of how close you are to getting the reward you want.
Tip 2 – InstaGC promo codes for free points
InstaGC sometimes offers promo codes that give you free points. You can find these codes on InstaGC’s social media channels. The codes will not make you rich, but it is an easy way to earn a little bonus from time to time.
Please note that you can only use the promo codes if you have taken a survey, completed a task or otherwise earned money on InstaGC within the last 5 days before you try to redeem a code. So you cannot use them if you are not using the platform in any other way.
One of the fun features of InstaGC is that you can create your own promo code and give it to people you want to give a little boost to their earnings. However, the amount you create the promo code for will be deducted from your own account. But it can be a nice way to help friends get started or a way to promote InstaGC.
Tip 3 – InstaGC Facebook or Twitter page:
InstaGC has several social media accounts – they are on Facebook, Twitter and Reddit. Personally, I only follow companies on social media if they have something of value to share.
In my opinion, InstaGC can actually be worth following. Firstly, you can find the promo codes here. Secondly, you can regularly find information about updates, new opportunities, special offers, etc.
So it can be a good way to keep up to date with what InstaGC is offering. It is the same information that is posted on all the social media channels, so it is not necessary to follow them all to get the news.
How do you get paid?
You earn points on InstaGC every time you complete a task, offer or survey.
These points can then be exchanged for a number of different things, depending on your preferences. Although the site is called InstaGC (short for Instant Gift Cards), you can get paid in ways other than gift cards.
You can choose to get paid in cash through PayPal, which is my personal favourite and I prefer sites that have PayPal as an option. Once you have earned 100 points, which is equivalent to $1, you can request a payout like this. It is great that InstaGC has such a low payout threshold.
InstaGC also offers you the option to get paid in Bitcoin, but you need to have redeemed at least $50 in cash or gift cards to use this option.
As the name of the site suggests, there are plenty of gift cards to choose from if you prefer to receive your rewards this way.
Which gift cards are available depends on the country you live in. You can also choose to donate your earnings to charity. There are several organisations you can donate to, including American Cancer, Clear Water Fund and Habitat for Humanity.
How much money can you earn?
InstaGC has pretty good options and decent rewards for the time spent on a GPT and survey site, so it is possible to make some nice extra money on the side. Exactly how much you can earn depends a lot on the country you live in and how much time you put in, as with all survey sites.
InstaGC is free to join and use, and you will receive 10 points as a sign-up bonus.
Just know that being a member of InstaGC will not make you rich or provide you with a full-time income. This is generally the case with all GPT and survey sites. It can make you some really nice money on the side, but do not join if your goal is to make a living from it.
Can you use InstaGC on mobile devices?
It can be very convenient to complete surveys and tasks on the go, as they can easily be done in small breaks throughout the day.
InstaGC does not have an app that you can use to earn money, but it does have a fully mobile responsive website.
This means that you can simply log in to the site on your mobile device, whether it is a phone or tablet, and then you can use it whether you are using iOS, Android or something else.
I think it is great that there is this option so you can earn on the device that suits you best.
Who can join?
InstaGC is open to anyone, no matter where in the world you live. You only need to be 18 years old to join. You can join as young as 13 with your parents’ permission.
The fact that you can join from any country does not mean that the same opportunities are available everywhere. Some countries have more opportunities than others, and English-speaking countries have the most, but you should be able to find some ways to earn more or less no matter where you live.
Note that to join from many countries, you will need a verified PayPal account to complete your registration with InstaGC. It does not say exactly which countries, so you will have to check for yourself.
You will be told when you try to join if you need a PayPal account to continue. This is a way for InstaGC to verify from the start that you are a real person, as PayPal has already checked this if you have a verified account there.

I have been in contact with their support on a number of occasions myself, and I must say that I am impressed with the speed of their responses.
In most cases I have received a reply within a couple of hours at the most. There is no guarantee that it will always be this fast, but in my experience it has some of the fastest support of all the GPT and survey sites I have tested.
Final verdict – Legit or not?
Let’s be clear – InstaGC is a legitimate site and you can get paid for using it. Whether or not it is the right site for you and has options that you will find interesting is up to you.
